There for radiation isolation following a Total Thyroidectomy. Admission was easy and relatively quick. The Nurses were amazing!
POOR in the ER Department, Great in other units. Today, I attempted to visit my 17 year old daughter in the hospital. I was told by the ER male nurse, Jim that my daughter had not been admitted to the hospital and there was no record of her in the system. The security guard, Jacob was rude and disrespectful to me and insisted that she was not there.
All said and done the hospital apologized to me for 'losing' her and stated that when she was admitted there was gross negligence in their intake and registration process. Seriously, this is the ABSOLUTELY WORST experience that I have ever had in a hospital.
Absolutely amazing customer service and attention to detail of the situation. Sally B in the ER was an Compasionate nurse that cares. Way to go! And thank you for making us feel welcomed and safe.
The facility, from what I saw of it, was very good.
I fear for anyone that has a loved one in this hospital. After the hospital "found" her, all of the staff have been excellent in her care....but you CANNOT lose a minor patient due to your inability to correctly process registration. Put this way....I would rather die than go to St. Cloud Hospital.
My son travelled over 2 1/2 hours to see my daughter after a trauma that she experienced and was turned away from the hospital as well. Only to return home. I had to contact the emergency personnel that brought her there and admitted there. Their comment was the hospital registrar was GROSSLY NEGLIGENT.
Very good staff and nurses. Very good nurses on observation and impatient floor. But theirs one good hospitilist and one good neurosurgeon. Told me what's wrong and that it was gonna be fixed the next week. Next day get new ones in there they say something way different and send me home with no medication and loose my inhaler.Tell me to do things I've already done in past. Really. But will give all staff and nurses a A+ but the man hospitilist and the man neurosurgeon they need improvement. You don't discharge someone with no medication that s still in pain and tell me to do things I've already done and there was no improvement. So that trip was a big waste of my money.
Excellent care of my husband. Truly cared for us and our family. Thanks!
