I've had to deal.with a,lot since moving back to Mn from Dallas Tx I just praise ALL.POLICE..as a,Tough job. I am a,Law,Abiding American and if you don't break the Law you have nothing to worry about .There's to many Officers getting hurt and targeted and we need to help our Officers.Family in Swat in Calif Many Friends n Family in Law Enforcement. Past n Present.Pray don't condemn..

Would give zero if i could ausht out hekp from them in determining where my son was after a cuatidy deapute. Instead of helping these assholes punished me for the mistake and further blammed my childs fathers mistakes on me. It took two weeks to file a complaint after the fact with their process and rather than owning up to their mistake disregarded my complaint as it wasnt their job or department. Also witness irresponsible policing tbis past winter pulling a car over on an icy bridge for speeding at most three miles over causing other cars to have to swerve slip and slide to avoid the now cllosed lane. An absolutle disgrace!

Schliemann was the officer assigned to HRA buildings. Since then, I believe he has retired. Unfortunately, for this reason I had to deal with him more times than I wanted to. His attitude was, "See my badge and gun. You better be afraid of me." He radiated this message, "Cringe in fear, the big shot is here." He didn't do a thing to help me. In fact, he participated in the harassment for his own amusement. I complained to him about the resident below me who would take a broom and pound on his ceiling. The resident tried to defend himself by accusing me of walking too heavy. Schliemann told me that next time he would write me a noise disturbance ticket, and I would be evicted as a result of the ticket. Schliemann loved to participate in the gossip in the building, and there is a lot of it. Schliemann's police work is a good example of abuse of power.

I've had no contact with the St. Cloud PD other than at Riverside Apartments which, by the way, is one of the most undesirable places in St. Cloud to live at. Thankfully, I've since relocated. I called the police several times during my 3-year stay there. All of the officers I've dealt with, except for Damen and Schliemann, were helpful.

They don't take mental illness very seriously, but who does these days..

I needed to file a police report regarding a case of identity theft/fraud with a company located in St. Cloud. The person assisting me was very kind and knowledgeable. I'm from out of town (Texas) and they were very interested in my case and sent me the information needed to file the report.

I'll tell you about Damen first. I complained to him about a resident who lived a few doors down from me. She would stand in the hallway and just stare at me. I was afraid to walk past her, because I was afraid she would pull out a knife. I expressed my fears to Damen. His response was, "Maybe she's pulling out a knife to butter a muffin." Really! Who pulls out a knife in the middle of the hallway to butter a muffin?
