I've tried giving this place numerous chances, but after today (9/1/17)...I will not be recommending this nail salon nor will I be returning to it. I had a male manicurist do my nails and he was by far horrible! I've tried to request Natalie, the manager. But she is always on vacation. The male manicurist did not take his time, he kept taking breaks to call someone on his cell phone, and he was really rough. What really irked me was that he used the electronic filer and filed my real nails down with it on a rough buffer head. I could already sense that my nails will be extra damaged after these acrylics come off! After he filed my acrylics, I asked for the nail filer to perfect my nail shape, he then got upset and sped through the rest of the process. When he buffed my nails out, he was super rough and I felt like my acrylics were going to rip off! Then when he applied the gel polish, he was not consistent on how he was putting the polish on! I asked him to go back and fix the missed spots with polish, but he ignored it. Please take your hard earned money and go somewhere else that is more experienced in customer service and knowledgeable in nails! It's a shame that this place looks nice, but the manicurists aren't.
After reading other post, she was a young girl who also asked me if I wanted a flower on my nails. I said no and she still continued to try and take extra money from me. Honestly this place is horrible.
I've been here a couple of times for pedicures-I like to give places more than one chance. I won't be going back. During my last visit the nail tech (Jackie) was so busy looking around and talking to employees that she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing to my feet. My cuticles and nails were cut and filed to the point of pain. I ended up with both of my big toe nails becoming ingrown-I've never had that happen before. They are constantly trying to upsell you on more lotions and services-which I did pay for the extras for "baby feet". In the end my feet were still dry and rough an hour afterward. So not worth the $$. It's not a relaxing experience. I won't be going back and have received better service and results from less expensive nail establishments in town.
They were a bit busy when I went in on 8/26 just before 2:00pm. I ended up waiting about 35min but it was totally worth it. All the staff I encountered were very professional especially the one lady I spoke with, I believe her name is Jackie. I chose to get the Cateye design with the Gel powder for my nails, she was very informative about pricing. The end result turned out fabulous and I love my nails!
Went here today because of the high rating on Yelp. The young lady did a good job with my nails. However she asked me what pedicure I wanted and I told her the $40.00 one. At the end she incorrectly over charged me, which I thought was intentional. Instead of arguing for services I just paid it and left. I won't be returning. It's a shame because they do nice work but who wants to haggle for money when your trying to relax. Can't relax when I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
Excellent! I have been here 3 times in the last couple of months. They do a great job and the nail professionals are very nice. The next time you want to treat yourself to a mani/pedi in St. Cloud give the Paint Box a try.
