The new ownership (May 2016) is amazing! They've transformed the store completely and hired on a great staff. They are honest, helpful, and not just pushing to make a sale. They offer personal shopping, community outreach/charity events, empowerment clubs, great deals, and I always have a blast going there. I can't shop anywhere else anymore. The selection is amazing (especially being I'm a 1X) and the prices are fabulous. I recommend it to all my friends.
The staff was very nice and they helped me find everything I was looking for. They entertained my kids and helped me carry my stuff to the car. Also they had a 70%off sale so I got a sweater for like $2 !
Great place to sell gently used clothes (women's only). Pleasant staff.
they had some nice things (and a lot of mediocre things as well). I was disappointed in their policy for accepting items for sale. They have a book that determines how old a label is (or so they say) -- if the garment is more than two years old according to this book, they will not accept it, no matter how fashionable it is or excellent condition. I'd try Margo Mundi in Sauk Rapids for nicer things and a more reasonable policy.
I too have bought and sold clothes at Clothes Mentor. Most of my transactions there have been positive. However the last two times I have been there the sales associate has rejected all of the things I have brought in. I buy all name brand stylish clothing and I take particular care of my things. She was very rude and almost insulting. Not sure you will be in business to long if that is how you treat customers.
