On Sunday, Nov. 12, my little terrier mutt, Lucy, got into some mouse poison at a relatives house near Luxemborg. Luckily, my son-in-law caught her near the mouse poison "cake". She had obvioulsy eaten some, so I rushed her into your St. Cloud facility. They were busy, but got her in as soon as possible. Long story short, they clared her stomach of the poison early enough. She has been happy and healthy since. The staff was kind, caring, and professional. I received a follow-up call last night, and they left a message. Just wanted to say thanks a million for helping my girl remain healthy!! Jim Dahl, Shorewood, Mn.
Dr. Udvig was outstanding and took my concerns to heart and helped not only my dog but me as well. Fairly priced for emergency veterinary care, and they walk you through the estimate before conducting any procedures. They even forwarded her visit to her normal vets office where they followed up with me. Cannot thank them enough.
They don't care if your pet is dying. They won't make a payment plan even if it's between 700-3000.
They said their was something wrong with my dogs nech, we later found out it was her ACL. They wasted my money x-raying her nech.
I took my cat here a few years ago with problems with crystals in his urine. They put a tube down his throat before even checking to see if he had eaten or even asking us. He threw up during the procedure and developed aspiration pneumonia. This means that bits of food went into his lungs. He was not able to breathe easily and had to be placed in an oxygen chamber. We were not certain if he would live through this. On top of it, since there was no 24 hr care in St. Cloud, we had to bring him back and forth with no oxygen to our normal vet. They did not have any suggestions to transport him across town, so we had to race against time just so he could breathe. They charged an insane amount which cost us a few grand due to an error that they did. No apologies were given, and we still had to pay. Our cat lived, miraculously, and he only had at 10% chance of survival. They told us he would die and we should put him down, but ultimately was our choice. It was a very traumatic situation that could have been avoided had they asked us some simple questions before doing something completely unnecessary. I would never EVER bring my pet or recommend anyone else to bring their animal here if you can't afford at minimum $1000 pet bill or expect to have your animal back unharmed. If you can avoid it, please do. They were emotionless, unapologetic and money grubbing.
