We have been going to Companions for daycare and boarding since July. We LOVE everyone at Companions! As soon walk in the door we are greeted by the most awesome, caring staff! Rush loves, loves, loves the staff. We can see how great everyone treats him and how much they love and care for him. When we leave for the day, either Meshaun or Aric bring him out, and always give him a big hug before leaving. We would never go anywhere else for our daycare and boarding. Thank you Companions!
After I brought my dog to Companions, the groomer, Lacy, took time to educate me that she uses a grinding technique to shorten the nails with out cutting his quick. Lacy was very educated in the area of pet grooming and friendly. After going back consistently for a few times in a row(per her suggestion), my dogs nails no longer click while he walks across the floor. Not to mention scratch up the wood. He never misses his monthly nail treatment, and he seems a lot happier.
I have always received excellent care for my two dogs at Companions. They follow up after visits to check on your pets and are always incredibly helpful. My dogs love boarding there as well and so do we - I feel better leaving them knowing they're in such good hands!
No More Nails Clicking - My dogs nails have ruined my hard wood floors. I did my best to keep them trimmed but couldn't seem to do it right or ever get short enough with out him bleeding.

I've been going to Companions for 6 years with my animals. I've been to several different vets in the area and I realized at Companions they are amazing with my animals and they are amazing with the owners as well. When my loving dog Iris was sick with cancer Dr. Nancy was only a call away when I had a question. She was able to keep Iris comfortable for 8 months before I finally had to put her down. When the time came for me to let her cross the rainbow bridge they were able to make a house call within a few hours of me calling. Yes, they always suggest the best most ideal plan for care for your pet. Pets are expensive. When we couldn't afford to do the best ideal plan for certain situations Dr. Nancy and Dr. Johnson and staff were able to come up with alternative plans that fit our budget better. I never felt like I was being judged because I couldn't do everything on the suggested plan. I LOVE that the staff know who I am and what my pets names are everytime I walk into the building. I love when my 3 year old brings her stethoscope and doctor tools to a visit the staff take an extra 3 minutes to help my daughter do an exam on the dog as well. Little things like that or a call from the vet when she is at home to make sure I understood something makes this business special. We plan to stay clients at Companions for very distant future.
During one of the visits I was expressing how much my dog sheds. Lacy kindly shared with me she has the option to use a special de-shedding treatment during his bath to help with his shedding . I thought I was doing everything by brushed him consistently and never knew there was such a thing. He still shed a little bit (he is a dog) but nothing like before and was grateful of her professional request.
Again, with a monthly bath the shedding hair has been greatly reduced and everyone comments me on how great my dog looks and feels.
