Was at the sears last weekend and just looking and I found a cookware set T-fal it was on sale and was about ready to buy and looked it up on amazon to make sure i was getting a deal and i found it much cheaper than even the sales price. I know sears tool where always a bit high price but a cookware set on sale. I am not surprised the sears is closing in St.Cloud
I found another retailer that sold Chamberlin openers ( the same as Sears sells under the Craftsman name). The same remote that is $44.98 at Sears was $27.95 for a brand name Chamberlin. It works perfectly on my Craftsman opener.
This is representative of the last several attempts by me to shop Sears .....
While our experience in trying to obtain the exercise equipment we wanted took too long and none of the selected items were in stock, the manager came along and asked us to wait as 2 close out pieces were going to clearance, we waited and got a terrific deal. Travis the young man that helped load the equipment was the real winning moment. He showed very much concern that our equipment make it home safely. Thank you Travis
We wanted to give a zero stars for customer service. After wandering the store in St Cloud Mn looking for help, i came across 2 employees chatting, so i stood as they made eye contact with me and waited for them to get done (not wanting to interupt) after 5 min i went searching for someone else. When i found that person, her cell phone rang..she looked at me and said..its my grandma..she never calls and answered the call (another benefit of doubt.possible family emergency) i hung around a bit and when she leaned on display and continued to talk..i left and continued looking for assistance . A guy was walking towards me with a soda in hand (it was 1 of the guys, that was talking earlier) i asked for help and his response was..i was just going on break, but what do you need?? At this point i cannot believe the customer service can be this bad....we go back to the discontinued tool boxes..and the guy barks at us. " Well what is your question" as if we were not important enough to help :( :( then as i start to speak, he rudely interupts me and says this guy will help you and walks away. ( WOW!!! so dissapointed) as we were leaving the lady on phone w grandma was telling another associate that they need to push for more reviews cause the manager was riding their asses to do so! Yikes!!!! So i am doing my part..here is your review you so desperately are looking for.very disatisfied, the store was a mess, the associates were rude and not helpful. We will never step foot in this St Cloud , Mn store again!!!!! What a waste of a 1/2hr
Not the best product selection and "sale" prices are hardly a better deal from comparable competitors but yet are supposedly 40% off.
Want to know why your sales are in the tank? I came in to buy a spare garage door opener remote. The shelves were nearly empty, but you did have a couple that would have worked. All the remotes were priced at $44.98, which I thought was a little high considering I got the whole opener with two remotes and an outside keypad for $129.99 a couple years ago.
