Rooms were clean, hotel has a lot going on this weekend. Nice little business center if you need to use a computer. Bar opens at 11 which was a peaceful spot to have a drink and get some work done on the laptop. Could use better sound insulation from the pool facing sides but other than that everything was great.
Booked a room a month and a half in advance for my daughter's birthday party. Was supposed to be a poolside room. When we went to check in they told us there were no poolside rooms available because of stay overs. we would have to have it on the second floor in a pool view room. Which did not have a view of the pool. Very poor service. We never stay at a Holiday Inn again
We have been going here for New Years at least 10 years and we have never had an issue with management or being up late on New Year’s Eve. This year, we were bombarded by employees at 12:30 AM telling us to turn off our music and go to bed. When asked why we had to go to bed 20 minutes into the New Year, the only answer given to us was “new management.” As we were CLEANING our own space so they didn’t have to do it, the workers brought the cops over to make sure that we were leaving the area and going to our own rooms. We do this every single year together and it’s the only time we get to celebrate with all of our family and friends together. We were extremely disappointed with the “new policies” by “new management” and most likely will not be returning. Pools, hot tubs, and volleyball courts also closed early and we were never informed of the new quiet hour policies as people who are paying to stay at this hotel and ring in the New Year with friends and family like we always do. Extremely disappointed. Will not be back next year, sad that our tradition to stay at this hotel has to come to an end.
Rooms were adequate, being poolside is definitely nice, although the decor is obviously dated. Only issues we're with Legends, the food was sub par, considering the price. Service was awesome and very understanding considering a loud, grumpy toddler was with us.
This place was amazing. Me and my whole family come every year and we love it. This hotel is better than any I have ever stayed in and it has an ARCADE AND VOLLEYBALL COURT. You don't want to miss out. Book a trip now. IT IS AMAZINGLY FUN.
