One of St. Cloud's gems, Munsinger Gardens, set along the Mississippi River offer multiple gardens, fountains, and constantly changing flora that are beautiful for an afternoon stroll. They're a must-see for any visitor to the area. Special events are held here, such as concerts on Sundays, and Art in the Park. It's a great, no-cost, place to go for a date.
Look out for the Pokémon hunter's driving around, playing while driving. This area is very bad for this. Keep this in mind when crossing the road. Fortunately they mostly stay in their cars and don't ruin the park.
This place was incredibly beautiful. The fountains were spectacular and the flowers were so vibrant. Truly a hidden gem in this city. My only complaint was that when we entered the other part of the Gardens one worker complimented how cute our two cairn terriers were when we walked past her; about 10 minutes into our walk we were stopped by another worker and told that no dogs were allowed in this area of the park... my fiancé had to take our dogs back to the vehicle and wait while I quickly observed one last fountain. - missed out on seeing the rest of this beautiful place. May I recommend a sign stating "no dogs". The only sign that was present was a "non-handicap accessible" one. We are very diligent when it comes to seeing what places and areas are friendly, along with always having a plastic bag with us.
Perfect place for a stroll, or to take pictures at. Be careful when you go, the flowers can either look really great or not so good. Highly encourage stopping. Unlike anything I've seen before.
Beautiful gardens along the edge of the Mississippi River. Shaded walkways, plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the view, fountains and ponds. The upper level of the gardens features rose gardens and lots more sunshine and a gift shop with lovely items and public restrooms. Both levels of the gardens can be managed for wheelchairs but the paths that connect the two levels are not handicap accessible.
