If you can manage the steep hills, it's a quiet and gorgeous page to walk along the Mississippi River (even if there are Frisbee golfers) and a staircase to the river down aways from the spillway. In the other direction you can walk under the University Drive overpass into Munsinger Gardens.
Great park, awesome disc golf course. I'd give 5 stars, except I broke my arm sledding here when I was a kid.
Downsides: needs more picnic tables and benches, small parking area so on crowded days you'll likely have to park on the street and walk a bit.
Very nice, large park next to the Mississippi River. Kids play area, tennis court, frisbee golf, lots of space for walking and snowshoeing in the winter.
Lots to do here. Splash pad, playground, Frisbee golf, tennis court, picnic tables, Pokestops and Gyms, steep hills for sledding, fishing off of the spillway. Beautiful, heavily shaded, clean.
This is a GREAT park with a lot to do. It has a splash pad and a really nice playground, it also has a large shelter that can be reserved for large family gatherings or company picnics. There is a really nice disc golf course and a good view of the dam. It's also a short walk from Munsinger Gardens, which is one of St. Cloud's most notable gems.
