We really appreciate having a good mechanic that is honest and straight forward. They are able to get our vehicles repaired quickly and are very competitive on pricing. They also have loner cars available for free if they need to keep our car for a little bit longer. I won't take our car anywhere else. We also bought two new sets of Good Year tires last year and got great tires for a great price. Great value, thanks to Dan and the rest of the staff, you guys are the Best!
The tire was $130 for a car tire, I thought was over priced.
I have 22.5 semi wheels and tires on my F-350 and what having a difficult time with getting the wheels balanced PROPERLY. I started out working with Heartland's main competition in the area with nothing but headaches and believe it or not my truck being stolen from their lot waiting for service. Needless to say I was working with Goodyear's warrantee department who referred me to Heartland - what a blessing! They took care of me from the moment I walked in and listened to everything I had to say about my experience thus far. You have to remember that the wheels and tires were not manufactured for a 1 ton truck, they are for big rigs and with that comes all sorts of challenges one of which is getting such big wheels to balance on such a relatively small truck. The staff at Heartland provided me with the pros and cons of different balancing options and really informed me about the realities of what to expect with using my set up on my truck. At the end of the day, they got everything as tight and smooth as possible and I can say that it is a night and day difference between when I went in and when I left; they even pointed out a slight bend in one of my inner rims that was contributing to the problem I was having by bringing me out to the balancing computer and showing me the results - pretty cool. I highly recommend these guys for both commercial and personal care/tire care and can say that when I next have issues with any of the tires on my 5 vehicles, I will be heading to Heartland Tire - thanks guys!!
My other complaints are they didn’t even bother putting the spare back under the van. ( it was very slow day for them)
Reply: first of all I would like to thank you for your response. It would seem that your technicians have a very high standard and looking out for people safety that I also appreciate. However I asked for my tire back before the invoice was made so therefore that would still be an error on your end. Not that I’m trying to nitpick but the facts are the facts. Once again thank you for your reply.
I took my lifted gmc in it had several problems and Dan and Chris took care of keeping costs down. Also gave me a military discount. I also asked is there any thing else needed to be fixed??? They said no truck looks good which really impressed me. Most other mechanics would of gave a long list of thing's to fix to try and squeeze more money out of you. Once again thank you Dan and Chris I will be recommending heartland tire.
Obviously I got my old tire back but somehow was charged a disposal fee. I mean how bad are these guys going to screw me.
I got 2 other options from tire places and both said all I need was a patch.
So I had it patched and it drives great.
Always freindly and helpful staff. Always a hot cup of coffee to.
PS we have now have about 3000 miles on that tire and it seems to be doing fine .
I stopped by to get a patch on my tire. They said that it could be fixed, five minutes later they told me there was no way it could be fixed because the sides where too bad and I have to buy a new one. This seemed odd because the tire did not look bad and it only has adout 10,000 miles on it but I am no tire tech. So I trusted them, and bought a new one. I asked for the old tire back just so I can review it. And get a few other opinions.
I will be sure to tell this story to everyone I know.
