Never getting the right merchandise
where would you like me to start???!!??? I used to be able to talk to a person state side...now, It is all overseas! I recently placed an order, waited for it for 2 week...it never came. I checked on the item...IT NEVER SHIPPED!!! They cancelled that order and ordered me another...it has been a week and...IT STILL HAS NOT SHIPPED!!! Not only that...but I have been charged for the same item TWICE!!! I call in to ask for a supervisor...I GOT VOICE MAIL!!! Are you KIDDING ME! 0 stars!!! I only put one because it made me!
Great customer service and website is really easy to get around on.:) I give them 5 stars all the way!
These people are the definition of predatory lenders. They seek out potential marks with low FICA scores and offer them high credit lines and a limited range of merchandise at top retail to go with. If you sign up for auto-pay through your bank, don't be surprised to be notified that you've had a payment charge-back and need to send a huge amount to get current right away. If you check with your bank about that, don't be surprised to find they have no record of a charge-back for the billing period for which you're being dunned. If you call to try and straighten it out, expect to be treated with complete, snarling rudeness by people who have absolutely not intention of helping you out in any way. I've got my balance within one payment of zero and after that I'm going to pretend I never heard of these grifters.
I Love Gettington!:I have been with them for about 5years and have never had a problem with ordering an item. Shipping is fast and always in great condition! I have bought at least 15 items from them..... I purchased an IPod for my son and got the 2year service plan. After a year and half the button quit working and Gettington refunded the full amount of purchase and received the check within 2 weeks! No hassle at all!!
Gettington works fine until there is a problem. Customer service representatives are NOT from America and the language barrier is frustrating. Although the item I received was damaged at no fault of mine, so far, Gettington has refused to pay return shipping charges. After more than 2 weeks I am still waiting for a prepaid return label while all the time I am occurring interest on my account. There are other companies such as Overstock and Wayfair that have very good customer service and return policies that I would recommend rather than Gettington. Avoid this company!
